We can actually. That's what I did with renderunto, pretty much the whole thing was the forum since the blogging features were so poor with a single install buddypress site. The problem are there are far fewer features if people really want to create their own "home" so to speak, everybody is stuck with the more limited buddypress profile.Â
Where this place will shine is when everybody gets used to working with wordpress, and starts to move their home past the simple blog stage.

@diogenese19348 I've always thought a forum was the place to have serious discussions about some particular subject. That seemed to be the way the one on shmooze was used until some decided to use it for a mud slinging arena.
