WHAT’S COOKIN
I always post my Monday routine of LAUNDRY CORN BREAD AND PINTO BEANS, and today I got this as one of the responses. I love the idea and am going to try it just as soon as I get the chance.
GARDEN BOUNTY
The chipmunks were nice enough to leave me a few ripe strawberries, so today I had enough to make a pint of yummy strawberry preserves. They will be awesome with some buttered biscuits!
VEGGIES SERVED UP
First cucumber of the year is almost ready to pick. Waiting patiently/impatiently!!
GARDEN BOUNTY
Good morning and Happy Saturday from the Kitchen! Rhubarb really did well this spring due to all the rain. I will be making this today.
BBQ MEAT LOAF
KITCHEN HACKS
I ran across this today and thought it might be helpful to someone. I haven’t tried any of them yet so I can’t vouch for them.
BLACK WALNUT FESTIVAL CARROT CAKE
I have had this recipe since the mid-50s. It is very different from carrot cakes made in recent years. I hope you like it! Cook’s note: be sure to use BLACK walnuts or you won’t get the same product.
PECAN PIE BARK
Absolutely scrumptious! You’ll love it!
