It isn’t often you find me speechless! This is a whole new world to explore and I am feeling a bit daunted. Normally I can pop off half a dozen pictures with glowing descriptions of each, and never blink an eye!
I’m sure that will come with time.

You can set comments to light or dark. It’s under wpDiscuz. I’m still trying to figure out why picture attachment isn’t showing. Embeds should work now, you can see which ones work under plugin settings. For Youtube, just insert the code
OK exactly what is wpDiscuz? I keep seeing it pop up and wondered if I should add it or if they were just trying to sell me something. (Ads are so tricky these days)

Discuz is a plugin that adds a lot of features to comments. When it is working correctly anyway 😄 They are the same people that make the forum software we use, their site is here:

Our two new members made it in safely and were amazed that you set them up directly. They kept checking their emails. lol Both are fun gals and there is another one wanting in but I wanted to wait until things are working better. We need to enjoy this and not feel all stressed out about it, don’t we! :wpds_wink:

They have to be registered on each site (boo) and configured. They do work. This is going to take some doing though. I have it set up on the main Civatar site, check the Civatar news page.

Being a site administrator is going to take some learning. I’ll probably be yelling help 90 percent of the time. The two new things you added, ask for license keys. Is that something I should have, or will you be taking care of that?
Yeah, since each member is administrator of their own site, they are expected to a lot of this stuff.(just as if it was an individual account) Frankly, a lot of it is slightly over my head.
I’m still a bit overwhelmed too to tell the truth, and I have been creating and maintaining word press sites for a while. Divi adds a whole lot of new things to discover, I just figured out how to change the font, size, and style of the text, and it isn’t in the text editor box itself. This is going to take a bit of getting used to, but it opens a world of possibilities.

I noticed the font change. I remember seeing the place to change it…. a while back! lol
I tried applying in-line css to my comment but it didn’t work. ((It’s very possible I did it wrong though.))
I had lots of custom styled boxes on Shmooze but just removed most of them.

I can do that with inline css. Not sure I remember how to make a whole style sheet and link to it, but we do have that option, don’t we? ((This is one of those moments when it’s a “Not well-enough informed” to ask intelligent questions situations.))
