Lots of refreshing rain has left the garden in a state of confusion.
Some plants are growing at an alarming rate while others look rather water-logged.

Day lilies suffer from lack of water, but then do the reverse and look terribly blotchy and straggly after the rain hits.

This lily (“Tequila and Lime”) is especially prone to waterspots, but that doesn’t deter it at all in putting forth it’s (usually greener) lovely blooms.

A rain soaked “Oklahoma Sand Burr”. Still beautiful in spite of all the blemishes!

A lot of time and hard work has gone into creating this years vegetable garden. It has been a challenging year so far, but things are starting to even out now and plants are growing in leaps and bounds.

Soon we will begin to reap the harvest!

Just when you think the day is over, something like this comes along and you just have to share it. It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that the material you post is loved and appreciated.
