There you are! About time you showed up!!!!!!!
I’d about given up on this one. I moved it and forgot where I put it!
Daylily “Volcanic Fireworks.”
I guess it was waiting to grace the holiday weekend!

Daylily “Volcanic Fireworks.”
I guess it was waiting to grace the holiday weekend!

It’s all about the ruffled edging these days!

How’s that for a nifty title!!
I have enough for at least two months of posts!
Enough to drive someone insane!! ((Wink))
Today’s star is Hazel’s Stitchery. (I brag on it a lot)

Daylily “Tequila and Lime” has really been a show stopper this year. It still has lots of buds left to open.

A little something to remember you by!
June has been most unusual this year.
It almost seemed as if Mother Nature was attempting to squeeze all four seasons into one month!
Plants are very confused, with some of them lagging behind and some quite a bit ahead of schedule.
I am thoroughly enjoying the daylilies. Flowers are plentiful and the majority of them are much larger than normal. Some remain the same, while others are a good two inches larger than average.
Example: These two lilies are usually the same size.

I spotted some tomatoes today on my Cherokee Purples, as big as eggs. It won’t be long now!!
These Juliets are the absolute best if you only want to grow one variety.
They don’t know what the word “quit” means!!

This is one of my very favorite day lilies.
It is blooming profusely this year.
Very striking in the front bed.

That eagerly awaited first ripe tomato is on it’s way!
Cherokee Purple is very unfamiliar to me. I’m sure I have grown them in the past, but I don’t remember if I liked them or how well they grew and prospered in my garden.
They seem to be maturing in leaps and bounds after a slow start from transplanting in May. The seeds were started in my greenhouse in late March.
Plants are nearing the top of their 5 foot support fencing and are full of bloom and small tomatoes.
