Flowering almond bushes are so delicate and lovely in the early spring garden. I loved bringing sprigs of them inside and making bouquets. This was from my garden about fifteen years ago.
The little bush died and I really hope to replace it this summer.
I have this most unusual growth in the back of one of my flower beds, and It’s driving me crazy wondering what it is.
The closest I can come to describing it is a super giant-sized bulblet from a tiger lily, but it’s way too large for that. The larger ones are over an inch across.

Good stuff!!
The sun is trying to come out. Haven’t seen it in days!!

Gotta hand it to my witty friends. Need a chuckle of the day…just ask!
No need for googling jokes any more!

I just finished working this colorful puzzle and thoroughly enjoyed every piece! I didn’t examine the picture on the box too closely, so that I would be pleasantly surprised at things as they showed up. I was delighted to see Coneflowers and some pretty pink Daylilies!
I miss my little doggy, Max. He was my constant companion when I was out in the garden.

He was extremely jealous though of the attention my plants received from me. When I was down on the ground working, he would try his hardest to get between me and the plant material.
When that didn’t work, as soon as my back was turned he would hike his little leg and pee on the plant!

Envy makes critters do strange things.
If you can’t compete with it then just pee on it!!
