Gotta love us!!

Gotta love us!!
Hairy Bitter Cress, the first wildflower to bloom in my area. A sure sign Spring isn’t far away!
Not exactly a garden post, but definitely related.
How cool is this for an indoor garden! pic.twitter.com/WU8y0patD8

My desktop garden is underway! I had to move everything upstairs to my second home because the cat thought all these little objects made great playtoys! Stay tuned!
Snowdrops are the first flowers to push their tiny leaves up through the ground in search of sunlight. I wanted to share this lovely post from one of my friends. She says it so eloquently.
Legend says that when a snowflake, warmed by an angel’s breath, touched the cold, barren earth, it transformed into a beautiful flower. Its blooms became a symbol of hope & the promise of better days ahead—a light shining from darkness to gladden our hearts.
Nothing better than home-grown vegetables fresh from the garden to the table!
I have had requests for pictures of my greenhouse, and while looking for one to post, I found this one taken several years ago that shows really well how all the buildings relate. The greenhouse is made from odds and ends that were free, so it was very inexpensive. Having free gas on the property is a blessing! I grow almost all my bedding plants…both flowers and vegetables for the year. I have added a raised strawberry bed and a rain barrel on the side of the building since the picture was taken.
February already!! Time to start planning the 2025 flower and vegetable gardens.
Greenhouse cleaning is underway.
Seeds have arrived and Seed Starter Mix is on it’s way!
Only two more days to “Groundhog Day”, which signifies the possibility of Spring being just around the corner. Winter is certainly flying by!
