BLTs just over the horizon!
A new Oriental Lily this morning! One from a bag of mixed colors that I planted out earlier this year.
I love it!!
Some of my daylilies that are in bloom today.
One of my favorite dahlias survived the winter without being lifted. Considering we had some pretty low temperatures, I am quite impressed.
Hollyhocks are scarce this year!
Cucumbers June 16, 2025
The sporadic “on again off again” Spring, has kept the vegetable garden in limbo.
Now, all at once, it has decided to play catch-up and is shooting up in leaps and bounds!
Cucumbers will be arriving really soon! Lots of nice crisp salads!
Day lily, “Dad’s Best White” just in time for Father’s Day!
Sugar Snap peas (cook pod and all) reaching for the sky! (Tiles are 16 inches for scale)
Should find enough for dinner today!
I have grown Sugar Snap peas for years and the blooms are always pure white. This year I have a plant with one lovely pink bloom.
