I have an iris coming into bloom that looks like it might be this one. I sure hope so!! I haven’t seen it in several years. I have no idea what the name is. It was in a bag of donated iris my mother-in-law gave me years ago.

Hey Mother Nature! It’s time to stop snowing and start growing!
How exciting!!!
The first Iris of the season sneaked in on me. I had my eye on a dark purple tall bearded iris which was just starting to unfold. I just knew it was going to be the first one to bloom.
Going out for my morning stroll yesterday, I spotted…way down at the end of the yard…. a FLOWER!
Not quite as showy as the fancy, frilly cultivars but nevertheless most welcome!!

Looking forward to a wonderful summer in the garden.

One of my good friends made this for me.
Thank you so much Isabella!!

Six inches of soft wet snow and it’s still coming down heavily. It’s so beautiful!!
Such a cheery sight!

Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
56/80 and mostly sunny!

Another beautiful day coming up!
Enjoy it to the fullest! ♥

March (instead of June) is busting out all over!
Yesterday the buds on this clump of daffodils were tightly closed and not even fully formed.
Today, we have this!
