A lazy Sunday here, bit too wet to do much and after all it is Sunday so it’s been a day of rest. I did go out this afternoon and grabbed a few snaps. I didn’t grab any pics of the peonies and iris still blooming, they have been a bit damaged from all of the rain and are done with their big flush for the year.

Just a couple of hummer pics and a couple of blooms, along with pics of one of my planters which I have several planted up with the same plants around the patio, some moss rose which I haven’t grown in years, (but love the stuff and how hardy it is with the heat), a baby praying mantis on a spirea bush, and lastly a clematis.

I have also included two pics of work to do yet…. raspberries to plant yet and all of the hosta left over from dividing and replanting. The extras will go on the East side of the garage and are waiting until I get some siding replaced first so they don’t get trampled. A gardener’s work is never done!
