Just a few pics, things are in a bit of a lull, lots of buds but the cooler temps are making them take their time about opening. Earlier flowers like phlox, bleeding hearts, tulips, daffs, early iris etc. are over with and I didn’t grab much if any pics at the time.
Lots of blues and purples at the moment, but then those are some of my favorite colors and I have tons of different shades of them in iris. We could use some rain though, the ground is getting so hard.
And lastly a pic of one of my new raised beds with strawberries planted. They are just starting to get settled in and I am hoping for an easier way to manage them as they take off with runners.
In case you are wondering, the sticks are to keep any feral cats and other animals from jumping up and digging in the bed. Fingers crossed that it works!

😆 Sure, they can go visit the neighbors for them!… (actually, I don’t know of any close neighbors that have strawberries, rather sad when I think about it).

Given how my next-door neighbor has already helped himself to my walnuts and peaches in the past, I have no doubt he will sneak over when they are being productive. I’d set up a camera, but I think he would take that too.
