I was going to post ‘Where Were You [when the world stopped turning]’, but some scoundrel, who shall remain nameless, beat me to it. So I’ll post the next best thing…
Today we remember those lives lost due to the 9/11 Terrorist attacks. We continue to remember and thank those who so selflessly put their lives on the line for America and it’s people. We continue to pray for this great nation.
These are chilling last messages that innocent people left for their families at home.
“I don’t know what to say. There’s three guys, they’ve hijacked the plane, we’re turned around and I heard that there’s planes that have been flown into the World Trade Centre.”
“There’s lot of smoke and I just wanted you to know that I love you always.”
“I just want to let you know I love you and I’m stuck in this building in New York.”
Betty Ong was a flight attendant on the first plane to be flown into the Twin Towers. In her final moments, she managed to call the authorities, providing vital information about what had happened – potentially saving countless lives by helping officials identify the attackers, and ground dozens more flights.

Proud to be an American!
Excellent choice! Darn that scoundrel! Fifty lashes with a wet noodle! 😉
And you need to post that original poem of yours that you wrote for 9/11!
Done!
Thank you!
Thank you, Ma’am…
