I stood calmly, minding my aim at the white porcelain target looming below. I listened to the sound of the flowing stream as it splashed into the pool of clear water. Then I noticed sparkling motion in the side of a clear bottle of liquid on a shelf facing me.
What could that be? As I looked around, I found the answer.
At that particular time, a ray of sunlight at exactly the right angle through the window illuminated the amber stream I was emitting, lending it a golden glow. The sparkling waterfall was being reflected by the clear liquid in the bottle, its image dancing remotely before me. I was fascinated. This could only happen at the precise time that a beam from the sun struck a stream from me and transformed it into a momentary work of art.
So what you’re trying to say is, you fantasize about golden showers…
🤣
Actually, no fantasy was involved. I’ve heard of that kink, but it isn’t one that appeals to me. Others may enjoy that, and I wouldn’t stand in their way.
I was just reflecting on one of those unexpected moments when forces of nature combine to remind us that beauty is all around us, sights large and small, sounds loud and soft, when we happen to notice them.
Oh, Dammit…I was so hoping to give you a new nickname of, “Golden Boy.” Oh well…
Are you sure Skittles were not involved? 😉
I imagine he’s tasted the rainbow…
Imagination can be a wonderful thing. I can gaze at a rosy sunset and imagine exploring a pink cavern. I can see a shapely mountain and imagine the areola borealis at its peak.
Or, I can imagine humanity enjoying peace and global harmony. It may not happen soon, but it’s nice to think about.
I always think of John Lennon when I think of global thoughts. And, I have been thinking a lot about having a maid to help with those Christmas cookies. Where is Maude and Mrs.Naugatuck, when you need help?
