Are you panicking yet? Still waiting on a couple things to arrive here, but I have got all of the holiday baking done that I am going to do this Christmas and it is packaged up and ready to go.

I ended up making 3 batches of chocolate chip cookies, 2 batches of molasses cookies, snickerdoodles, haystacks, and 7 layer bars, a batch of cherry mash, a jellyroll pan of chocolate fudge, and three batches of toffee. (Let’s just not talk about the amount of butter, sugar, chocolate, and calories involved!)

I chose this song for today’s Music Monday as I always listen to it this time of the year. I love Gregorian chants, and I love the movie this song comes from. If you haven’t watched it, give it a try.

The above meme gave me a chuckle, and it’s a quiet reminder as I get ready to do some holiday baking and candy making this week to not sample too much. I already have had a ton of goodies delivered to me in the mail that I have been picking thru to munch on… (Thanks Santa for the early gifts!)

Here we are the buildup to Thanksgiving. Still going over my Thanksgiving menu, but I think I have it figured out. Thankfully my sister-in-law is making half of the meal and I am making the other half. It shouldn’t be too much of a scramble on Thursday to get it all done.

I had planned on going out today to grab a few more pics, but with the rain that won’t be happening.

So I will just post the couple of pics I did take before time passes and I forget about them or they no longer are appropriate for the season.

While outside doing some fall cleanup, I did come across two wooly worms which unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a pic of, however they did show a lot of orange, so I am hoping that means a mild winter!

Here we are with another Monday and it is the last one of the month. Won’t be long and we will be in the throes of Christmas shopping and complaining about the crowds, prices, and lack of time to get everything done.

For today’s song, I tried to come up with a song to tie in with Halloween being this Friday. I tried not to pick an obvious song and thought this song fit the bill as well as being upbeat to get you humming and in a good mood.
