Have you been following the Peace Walk? If you haven’t heard about it, it is a group of Monks who walked from Texas to Washington D.C. promoting Peace and non-violence. It is both heartwarming and depressing.

A beautiful message shown thru their actions and words. A heartbreaking realization of how just utterly broken we are as a country. I won’t discuss politics here, because that solves nothing and despite what many people think and say, we as a country have been broken for a long time, years, decades in fact. Finger pointing solves nothing, shifting blame serves no purpose, and no one person or group is to blame, but all of us as a whole have to take responsibility for our own words and actions. Social media right up there with it for it’s bullying, childishness, and its subterfuge of anonymity.

So many good songs out there about peace and understanding, and it was hard to choose just one song for today’s Music Monday. I finally settle on this song because so many times one has to shake their head at the world’s craziness and ask what’s going on?
