I hate to post just a pic or two and call it a blog. I don’t really consider that a blog or at least a blog of any substance, but I’m afraid today’s blog is just a couple of pics of some “winged” visitors that visited and just a couple of daylilies that caught my eye. Several others are still blooming but I have posted them in previous blogs and hate to repeat myself too much.

And lastly one more pic of some of the garden phlox before I rip it out along with all of the asters which have caught the dreaded “yellow asters”, which is a disease that is caused by a leafhopper insect. Just sick over all the flowers that I will be removing over the next couple of days because of it. I’m sure all of the rain and humidity we have had, has also contributed to its spread. Wouldn’t you know it, I had just planted three other kinds of asters last year and now it all goes. Bummer.
