Being able to do justice to that song has been a test for fiddlers, as far back as I can remember. This group is certainly in the top 1 %!!!!
Nice rendition by them. I will have to check out more of their videos. I watched a couple, but I wonder if they have more videos that focus more on the girls singing? The guy seems to be the lead with the girl’s singing harmony or backing vocals.
I don’t know, I just came across them today while looking for that SeaTrain version. I really liked that one, but it is from 50 years ago or so, and these folks sounded pretty good and are more or less just starting out (I think this was from three years ago), so I figured I’d post them.
I did listen to a couple of the ones with vocals, that guy is interesting but his range is limiting. I’ll keep an eye on them.
I had never heard Sea Train. (I googled it) That will give one goose bumps.
