Well, maybe not a peck, but at least one of my mixed colors of sweet bell peppers that I grew this year is going to be a color other than green.

In past years, I had a delightful assortment of colorful peppers all season.

The past couple of years they have been all green and red, even though I planted the exact same variety.

So far this year, I have at least one success.

I have this Japanese friend on X who has a seemingly endless supply of extremely interesting ideas for blog posts.

I won’t post all his words here, but his picture says it all, especially to us gardeners who have participated in the great zucchini give-away!
