Everyone always post a pic of their fridge when they are defrosting it. Right?

I have been having some serious problems with underground critters (namely, voles) eating every bulb that I plant in the garden, so I invested in a large supply of a poison substance, guaranteed to take care of the situation.
I carefully put a generous handful of it in every tunnel I could find, and sat back with a satisfied smirk, confident that the pests had been defeated.

While walking through the yard, I found this note sticking up out of one of the burrows.
