She was struggling and catching every disease that came along. She was behind in her class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within a year of our home-schooling she had caught up and was a year ahead when she tested at the end of third grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She re-joined her class for the second half of what would be her senior year and received a regular high-school diploma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She opted not to start college right away and started volunteering at the school where her mother teaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school soon saw her potential and hired her as an aide in their special education department.
