A bit of an update or a follow up to my “Two for Tuesday” blog where I went out today to recapture pics of the sedum and the turtleshead (chelone).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

While I was out there, I snapped a couple of other pics. Most of the flowers are almost done for except for the hydrangeas which I have posted a pic earlier, and the annual flowers I had planted this year. It is a bit of a lull until the fall bloomers come into their full glory. But a few are popping out already…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So many hostas have already bloomed, and other than the bees and the hummingbirds loving them, their foliage is their main attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The veronica is on it’s last leg of blooms, but it hasn’t stopped the flutterbyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new annual for me this year, love the color, but I think the plant needed more sunlight or a longer growing season. It got dwarfed in my planters among the other flowers but was supposed to grow taller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a good weekend bloggers. I keep looking at the bulb catalogs but I think that time is getting away from me so I will forgo putting in any fall orders…. Oh well, there is always next year, said every gardener at one time or another!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
