As I lay here beneath the willow tree <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And watch the marshmallow clouds roll by<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I imagine a different place and time<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I lay here and wish you by my side<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n



All is quiet as I lay here and rest<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scent of wisteria is in the breeze<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I can smell the delicate honeysuckle<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it creeps around the trunk of the tree<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n



The azaleas are blooming around the pines<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checking each blossom is the hummingbird brigade<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Butterflies flutter around my head<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And a flock of sparrows in the birdbath play<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n



At the end of the pier the sailboat’s tied<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s calling my name, let’s go out and play<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I’ll just lay here and dream of you<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I’ll go for that sail another day<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
