Iceberg and Anne Hathaway roses in my garden now. I like these soft colors. I had some deer eating ones I planted outside my fence, I scattered Irish Spring soap and added a few marigolds and that seems to work 🤞🌹😊

I really admire you and Joy with all your gorgeous roses, but I have just never gotten into growing them.I bought a couple about 15 years ago but they never did any good so I gave up on them. I just have the one (Lady Z as I call her) which is thornless, and grows in spite of me! LOL
Thank you Vero, and Yes, I know your beautiful Lady Z well and always stop for a bit to admire her. That’s why I prefer peonies, beautiful full blooms, fragrance and No Thorns.
Until just recently, I never wore shoes when gardening, and I didn’t want to risk stepping on a stray limb from a rose bush. Those things hurt!! I started growing thornless blackberries for the same reason.
👍
