Wow they are really looking good!!
I will take a picture of my two desktop plants later on today (without that pink light) lol It makes them look weird.
I hope we can have a successful pepper crop this year. I have a couple of new varieties in the greenhouse.
So far I’ve read:
1. Rich soil, more sandy or loamy, for drainage and warmth
2. Ph between 6.0 -6.8
3. Sun 6 to 8 hrs/day but not in hot sun
4. Seedlings 18 to 24″ apart (I think I’ll put them in grow bags)
5.Well mulched to absorb sun as they have a delicate root system
6. Staking helps
7. Companion plants: cukes, corn, carrots ( I’m settled on using grow bags this year, but will try a plant near one of these companions)
This info is interesting and really helpful. Thanks for doing the research. I will definitely take note of all this.
#3 has me puzzled… how can we have sun but not “hot sun”? lol I don’t get any other kind here!! π€£π€£
Those peanuts are really looking good as well. They will be blooming soon. I think they are such a pretty plant. I noticed I still have a few in a jar from when I last grew them. I’m going to plant a couple and see if they will still sprout.

πPeppers are like Goldilocks!
π€£ππtrue!
I am going to have to find a system to raise the lights. The plants are touching the bulbs now and they are adjusted as high as they will go.
